Our Prosperity Home Mortgage team is working hard to bring the phrase “home for the holidays” to life, partnering with Habitat for Humanity Tucson to complete its Whitney Farms development in Marana, Arizona. Prosperity team members Becky Helvey, Cassie Mueller, Eric Amezquita, Eric Dupree, Ed Arriola, Matt Rivera, Matt Torres and Tracy King joined Habitat Tucson last week to celebrate World Habitat Week and help finish several houses in Whitney Farms, so that Habitat’s families can celebrate the holidays in their new homes.
When completed, the development will consist of 12 new homes, all with between 2 to 4 bedrooms, in the Honea Heights neighborhood of Marana. Prosperity’s team helped paint and prime and finish the landscaping at the homes, as Habitat Tucson prepped for its first home dedication on Oct. 7.
“At Prosperity, we’re committed to housing equity and increasing homeownership amongst the diverse communities we serve, and through our partnership with Habitat for Humanity, we’re able to help our friends and neighbors in communities around the country to become homeowners more affordably and to build equity and long-term wealth through homeownership,” said Tim Wilson, CEO of Prosperity.
In addition to Habitat Tucson, Prosperity will be supporting Habitat efforts in Atlanta, Dallas, Los Angeles, Philadelphia and Washington, D.C. Joining forces with organizations like Habitat is one of the ways that Prosperity works to further its commitment to housing equity. The full-service mortgage banker also invests in a variety of community outreach projects and develops diverse lending products to increase housing opportunities throughout underserved communities.
