At Prosperity Home Mortgage, we’re committed to housing equity and increasing homeownership in underserved markets, and one of the ways we help achieve that goal is through partnerships like we have with Habitat for Humanity Philadelphia.
Last week, Matt Torres, SVP of Compliance and Community Lending, joined the Habitat team at the groundbreaking for its Coltrane Commons development. When completed, Coltrane Commons will include 21 affordable multi-family and single-family homes in the Strawberry Mansion neighborhood.
In addition to making a three-year financial contribution to Habitat Philadelphia, Prosperity team members plan to help with the Coltrane Commons build however they can. Already, several employees worked together to construct Adirondack chairs, which will go to future homeowners in the community.
